We’re WILDLY excited to introduce 3 cougar residents moving to Wild Utah this spring. Liam, Mara, and Rafael came to the zoo after being orphaned and rescued as cubs. Due to their young age, they were not fully equipped with the necessary skills to survive in the wild. Cougars are native to Utah and can be found in many different habitat types throughout the state. Learning how to live safely with cougars is essential as our population grows. You can see the cougars at the new Wild Utah exhibit, now open!
